During my recent stay at Fratelli Guest House, I found it to be a modest choice in Shillong that balanced value for money with some unexpected amenities. The reception staff were genuinely helpful, making check-in a breeze, and the daily housekeeping kept the place impressively clean. The location is advantageous for exploring various local attractions, which I appreciated as an eco-conscious traveler. My upgraded room, however, felt somewhat confined, with sealed windows limiting sunlight and views. While the bathrooms were surprisingly good, the overall standard did leave some room for improvement. I enjoyed the complimentary Wi-Fi and found the in-room tea and coffee facilities a thoughtful touch. The flat-screen TV was also a pleasant surprise, making for a cozy evening. If you're looking for a basic stay without frills, this guesthouse provides just enough to warrant consideration. Ultimately, Fratelli Guest House strikes a balance between cost and comfort, albeit with some compromises on the luxury front. It's a standout option for budget-wise travelers.
